It’s HERE! Windows 7/Win7 launches tomorrow and there is much activity and excitement afoot. Prowess, a new SMB Nation sponsor, has a Win7-related special for folks who attended the just completed SMB Nation Fall 2009 event in Las Vegas. And in Seattle, Microsoft’s home town, the Windows 7 launch has a really special flair. There is a lunch/learn/meet/greet at the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce. More importantly – if you are a Microsoft partner – you can participate!!! See the net-net communication below where you can HOST A TABLE in front of bona fide customers and BE THERE at the Win7 LAUNCH! I will be there and I look forward to seeing you too!

Here is a rough agenda of what the event will look like:
11:00 a.m.: MS Partner Huddle
11:30 a.m.: Registration opens/networking
Noon: Welcome/Demo
12:45 p.m.: Table Conversations/Structured Networking
1:20 p.m.: Prizes Drawn
1:30 p.m.: Event Concludes
As a host of a table we ask that you facilitate a casual conversation about Windows 7—we will provide a table question to start the conversation and attendees will have a game card with questions about Win7 that they may need your help to fill out. We would also like to encourage you to bring a laptop loaded with Win7 so your table can get a hands on look at the operating system.

I have an exciting “Win 7 Launch Day” event coming up this Thursday during the lunch hour at the Seattle Chamber, and we need at least 5 more partners to sign up to “host” a lunch and learn table. The event is coming up very soon but I wanted to reach out and see if any of your Seattle area partners would want to come? They would be seated (1 partner/table) with 10 customers at a table. After a presentation and demo from our friends at the BMO, there will be some time for the Partners to give customers at their table a more intimate view of Win 7. Tell them to bring their Win 7 laptops! We currently have over 80 people registered!
