Morning Koffee with Kerio…

Ahhh…nothing like those first cups of espresso in the morning out here on the Left Coast to start my day. I like to start early because, as one of the last time zones in the world, everyone else is already up and at’ em!

Today I had “koffee” with Dusan Vitek (VP – WW Marketing) and a Kerio partner, Greg Valyer from Digital Criterion. So here is what I learned.

Kerio has been in the SMB sandbox for some time (even though this was my first introduction to the company), building its partner program via tradeshows and other outreach avenues. Our SMB Nation community of SBSers will be a relatively new community for Kerio and I sensed it’s excitement about being an exhibitor at the SMB Nation Fall Conference (Oct 2-4, Las Vegas). I also think our SBSer and SMB National tribal members will enjoy meeting Kerio for the following reasons:

1 – There are three partner program levels: Authorized, Certified, Preferred

2 – There are two products: e-mail server (can u say Exchange alternative) and gateway security

3 – The product are multi-platform: It’s ability to serve the Windows world, open source community and Macintosh cult makes it a uniquely positioned solution to engage in broader SMB community conversations – over coffee!

4 – Kerio thinks locally and acts globally. It has had much success overseas and as you know, that maps to the SMB Nation tribal member demographic (a shout out to my buds in across the pond and down under!).

So stop by booth #223 at our fall conference, with your coffee in hand, and tell ’em harrybbb sent ya!

cheers….harrybbbb
