So it’s time to get practical and meet the five Ps of marketing. Earlier chapters helped set the SMB consulting practice table. It’s now time to hunt and gather to put food on that table. This chapter starts an increasingly hands-on theme in this book to go forth, provide valuable SMB consulting services, and make money.
For the vast majority, making the right decisions and finding opportunities are a combination of timing, smart thinking, luck, and possession of a skill set that is in demand. For some, finding opportunities occurs by a process of elimination and by avoiding mistakes. However you find them, if the opportunities exist, the money is there for you. Let’s get started.
