Hiya – I am the publisher for the above title and its Thanksgiving! Lets celebrate by posting up a passage as a daily virtual book reading. Cheers!
This chapter explored the upstream design function associated with planning for and deploying SBS 2003 networks. Context is king in understanding that. On the 70-282 exam, there is clearly a design section that has you thinking like an architect. This chapter touched on the major design areas and incorporated the “specifications” as the end product for the designing and planning tasks. Areas covered included:
· Messaging and collaboration.
· Management and operations.
· Disaster prevention and recovery.
And all this was presented to you in the context of the REAL WORLD with client war stories, and then topped off with a 10,000 foot level view of Active Directory logical and physical structures. Good stuff!
