SQL Server server-side management in SBS 2003 [Windows Small Business Server 2003 Best Practices book excerpt]

G’day everyone – harrybbbb here, author of the above title. I hold a daily virtual book reading by posting up a passage. Let’s rock!

Server-side management

This is where you will spend your time with SQL Server: using the management tools. You’ve already seen two of the management tools: the SQL Server Enterprise Manager and the SQL Server Service Manager. But there are various other SQL Server administration tools and wizards, as well as the books online. To introduce yourself to the full array of SQL Server management tools (which are technically considered client applications even though they run on the server), simply display the contents of the Microsoft SQL Server program group (found via the Start button, All Programs).
