Bad Dream? Where are the SBS MVPs at the Nov 12th Launch?

Today I received an e-mail from a competitor, TechTarget (Boston publisher), inviting me to attend the November 12th online launch for SBS 2008 and EBS 2008. I signed up.

When I educated myslef on the content and speaker line-up, I was concerned that I did not see the name of a single technical SBS MVP as a presenter. What’s this I asked? Is MS heading in a “different direction” and sending our market signals?

Long-time enterprise server guru and author Mark Manasi is a headliner, and indivdiually he’s a good guy (so is “have a beer-with-George Bush in DC” but….). But I submit to you Manasi doesn’t know “jack shirt” compared to the SBS MVPs!

I will be blogging constantly during the November 12th event – so bookmark me baby!

  1. Actually Harry, Michael Cocanower who is speaking during the online launch event is an SBS MVP and has been for sometime. Not sure why they didn’t mention that standing in his information.
